2022 F150 Powerboost
Hi guys, I’ve got a 2022 Powerboost Lariat 4wd with 24,000 miles. I purchased it in November with 19,xxx miles. It had the original Pirelli tires which I thought were flat spotted due to the truck sitting at the dealership for several months. A vibration was felt from the rear, no steering wheel shake or shimmy. I replaced the tires with Cooper Discoverer ATP2 from Discount and still noticed a vibration. Those tires were rebalanced several times because the vibration had shifted to the front. With Discount Tires 30 day satisfaction warranty I swapped the Coopers out with Michelin LTX MS/2. The vibration was still present in the rear. I had those rebalanced 3 times. The last time they roadforce balanced and I spoke to the Discount manager about what was going on. They had the techs roadforce each tire twice. One was 4 lbs of force which is apparently very smooth.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any ideas?

I took the truck back into the dealer and they kept for about 2 weeks. They replaced both front wheel bearings and used their chassis ears to confirm vibration issues are present. The shop foreman rode with me and also confirmed he could feel it and it was not normal. They swapped wheels and tires and vibration was still present. They opened a case with Ford and got the dreaded “this is a normal characteristic, no repairs should be done” nonsense. Once Ford lays that line down, are there any alternatives routes to get repairs? I was going to purchase an extended warranty but now am thinking about dumping this thing instead.
