Did I figure it out?
Nope
Dealership had no idea.
I had a resonator delete on.....removed it and sound is gone.
I'll put it on again and experiment once winter is gone.
Discussing with a friend/mechanic....he had a few ideas.

I don't have air bags....I put on Timbren helper springs,on since new truck.
Axle bolts have been checked multiple times.
Never removed or loosened (that I know of)

The short answer, no.

Last august, about 4,000 miles ago I got home from a camping trip and noticed bearing noise in the rear end. Took the truck in and they rebuilt the differential. Shortly after I went on another trip to a family wedding with the trailer and 2 hours in I stopped at a rest stop and smelled burning gear oil. Climbed underneath the truck and the diff cover was piping hot, to the point of being able to boil water on it. An additional 4 hours of driving, and an extra full day of fu&king around, I was able to salvage the trip with a loaner. The loaner was a 24 XLT with the regular ole 9.75" axle that performed beautifully over some 900 miles or so of towing. They didn't find anything wrong with my truck but changed the fluid and checked everything over. They suspect the gearset was tight from being rebuilt and I didn't drive it without a load long enough for everything to "set" but I also haven't towed much distance with it since and I definitely worry about towing season this year, as I trust this rear diff as far as I can throw it.

This noise is also still very much present.

I deeply regret ordering the max tow axle. The regular 9.75" axle is perfectly capable of doing all things an F150 should. If I could go back I would run far away from this semi floating axle design as otherwise, my 2023 has been 100% flawless.

As someone who has had the same noise and mine disappeared....
A few things
Axle bolts fine, rear end good.....shop found nothing.
Mine did it with no load in truck.
Never noticed it with load or pulling trailer.

I lubed n greased everything I could in backend suspension, leaf springs etc.
I had a resonator delete on when I first noticed the ticking.
To put on the resonator delete my exhaust is stretched as far forward as possible.
I removed the resonator delete and the noise went away....to be fair I did the suspension luring about the same time.
I recently put the resonator back on but I have lubed all the exhaust hanger grommets with silicone and so far noise hasn't returned.
IMO it was suspension or exhaust related cause i have zero drive train issues.
It's still a mystery and with winter just ending here the windows will be open alot more.
We will see.
