I called a Ford customer service department, no answers from them. If I had to make a educated guess, I think the blue cruise push is tied to the camera update...

I suspect you are correct. It seems once they sell the vehicle they could really care less if we are missing features. I talked with the service advisor at my localer dealer and he was hessitant to even discuss trying to do an update without a specific problem.

I did find the Sync update page under support on the Ford site but when I put in my Vin it says there has been an error please try again. Chat was pretty much less help than the error saying to contact dealer.

Its just fustrating that if I were to buy a new 2021 truck off the lot right now it has different features than my 2021 truck that is less than 2 months old and somehow that is perfectly fine according to Ford.

Just picked up my new truck yesterday. I randomly stumbled across the bed camera and it was fully functional when I was doing 55. I was surprised when it actually worked.

I’m just great full to have a truck, but I suspect they will handle the sync update on the camera, by paying dumb and using the same mgt team that put thousands of ford trucks partially built in parking lots For months with no answers.
i Thought Apple store workers were jerks but Ford u take the cake.

I wonder what the cost and availability of a new APIM module is... surely a new in box module would have the latest software? Pretty crappy approach having to spend what I bet is around $1,000, but it would be an easy workaround if ford doesn't update our older modules to support these features.

I got the cord with mine but I also have a trailer that already has the sticker on it and it setup and works fine.

Just was watching a video on the new tundra and how it can see the bed and trailer at any speed and came here to see if people had the same issue I do and can't use the cameras. To see this makes me go WTF..the software is done obviously but not available...
