First, a huge "Thank You" shout-out to any and all involved in figuring out how to get rid of that "Full view not available" banner through using FORScan!!!
Ugh, I HATED that banner! Learning that it could be defeated was a major component in pushing me over the line and getting me involved in using FORScan. I've now implemented several changes through FORScan - zero regrets; nothing but joy.
Although I am overjoyed with getting the banner removed, I'm interested in moving the ball still further down the field. When the rear camera is turned on, it is essentially activating the Backup Camera, i.e., with the "guide lines":
(My apologies to @icemanrrc for an unauthorized theft of his photo. I was just too lazy to get my own.)
However, when a trailer is plugged in, there are no "guide lines" in the rear camera view. This leads me to think that the module (IPMA?) knows the difference between when a trailer is plugged in or not, but maybe not the difference between the transmission being in Reverse vs. the camera button being pushed? ?
Is it possible to not have the "guide lines" on the rear camera view (no trailer), but retain the lines for when the transmission is in reverse?
