I have a regular cab F150. When installing my audio I noticed the large cab vent on the rear wall. When driving, you can hear wind noise etc. Is there a way to quiet this down without blocking it off?
I seen some of you with larger audio systems and it looks like you have it fairly blocked off.

I dont want to block it off, just quiet down the road noise that comes through.

I took a small towel and stuck it up in the hole leading to vent. It definitely helps.

On order ‘22 RCSB.
I tried various ways to do the same as you and what i found was anything that makes it quiet restricts airflow too much. On my RC this made it hard to shut the doors without slamming them. I suspect RC trucks are more sensitive to the vents being covered.
3m thinsulate is what I used but only ended up covering the vents about half way. These vents also allow HVAC airflow. so when mine were covered up the fan seemed to struggle moving air when it was not set to recir. If I cracked a window airflow went up a noticeable amount.
that is why i settled for only partially covering the vents.
