I have a nasty rattle in the brushed aluminum trim piece on the dash. This is the piece that runs from the ignition button to the American flag in the passenger door jam. Any ideas on how to fix.

I would just pop it off and see what's making the noise.

Pull the trim piece off and put a dab of clear silicone under it in some key spots where you think rattles could be happening.
