@STexas90 I've experienced this issue with my wife's 2021 Expedition and have recently started seeing it on my 2022 F150. I have not taken my truck in for this issue but they did end up replacing the battery on the expedition and it seem to clear the issue. The dealer said that it has to do with the state of charge being monitor by the system. The battery passed the battery test but they kept it overnight and look at the state of charge the next day. He said it was ok but had dropped quite a bit more than he would expect so they replaced the battery. The expedition only had around 20,000 miles on it at the time. I'm skeptical on whether it's a software glitch or a battery drain problem. When i first started seeing this issue i made sure that all the interior lights and everything were turning off while it was sitting(my kids like to turn the light on above them and then forget about it). I've got a service appointment for my truck next week so i will probably mention it to them and have them run a test on it.
Ok thanks for response if you remember try to report back here once you take it in to let us know

Its your phone.

Puts apps "to sleep" after no use for a period of time.

Check your phone settings.
Its not your phone. I use my truck and the app daily and I keep getting the same messages.

this is my theory on this only for powerboosters…if you start up your truck and are moving it and it’s only in electric mode the alternator doesn’t kick on to recharge the 12v battery that starts the truck. so you voltage will fall below the threshold and go into deep sleep mode. this happens a lot for me when i have to move my truck from in front of my garage and get my other car out and then repark it. i may do this all week without driving it a long distance then i get the deep sleep mode message then after i drive it then it goes away…only a theory

I'm assuming you have a Powerboost. There is no traditional alternator that requires the engine to be spinning.
Instead, there's a DC/DC converter that uses the High Voltage Hybrid battery to charge the 12V battery. And it is doing so anytime the truck is in "Ready mode".

Still, these trucks tax the 12V system/battery really good, and the 12V battery management system is programmed very conservative, in many peoples opinion, regarding the SOC of the AGM battery. If you are monitoring the various pids that are in play, you will be frustrated as you witness the truck intentionally keeping the 12V battery at or below ~80% SOC. And if the truck is driven infrequently or short distances, it's almost impossible to keep it at or above 12.3V, unless you manually intervene and charge it occasionally with an external charger.

Add to that the supply chain issues that resulted in a fair percentage of trucks being delivered with brand new AGM batteries that suffered a less than ideal birth! Many were probably discharged far below what's safe for an AGM to have a normal healthy lifespan.

Even when on a trickle charge, they will go into deep sleep. Mine did twice. Once at 14 days and at 12 days.

That’s what I am seeing and hearing now too guess it make sense with all this “software” comes glitches ugh.
I hop you are right and it is just a glitch. My truck is driven daily and I bought it new a few weeks ago. Got the deep sleep mode message on the app this morning. Went and started the truck and let it run a few minutes. No issues. I sure hope this doesn't become more...

My truck is 2 weeks old and got the message today for the first time. Will keep an eye on it. This happened after an App update on Ford Pass.
