Does that bumper retain the factory fog lights? Can't quite tell from the pics.

Sorry, slow on the uptake for replies :)

Yes, retains the factory headlights, but you can also go a different route if you choose.

Regarding the weight, braking, MPG, etc... It is heavier than factory, but not so much that it sags. I would bet (didn't pre-measure) I lost have an inch of the puck/spacer lift I have. MPG, definitely some impact, but again, hard to quantify since I also did tires. I am getting between 17-18 between city/hwy.

The lightbar I put on is a rough country, low profile slim bar, but still cranks out 12K lumens.

Also, no wind noise. It is BARELY visible from the driver's seat.

Great, thanks for the replies @kaspar139 and @hammerhead2411

Is the impact to fog light output due to the expanded metal covering them, or because the cutout isn't big enough? The expanded metal protection is removable on these bumpers, right?

The expanded metal is spot welded from the inside of the bumper, but you could easily cut it out. I have to imagine anything in front reduces the light output some, but I notice is more in the "breadth" of coverage as oppose to output. Before the bumper, I could see more light output to my left and assume it matched the right :) Either way, the factory lights don't overwhelm you with light anyway IMO, so it's not a loss.

The expanded metal in the center of the bumper where the sensors are located ARE removeable.

Sorry, I was wondering if it retains the factory fog lights. Do you lose the lighting signature?

Looks great, glad they finally made it. I'd vote for this over the FabFours version, as this is MUCH more plug and play than that was. I spent a decent amount of time with an angle grinder making the FabFours version accommodate ACC and the intercooler intake. Plug and play would've been nice.

Ok I have added the Ranch Hand Summit front end replacement and a rear bumper from Fab Fours that basically is the same as RH’s rear bumper but doesn’t have the compatibility issues with the rear tailgate on King Ranch chrome tailgates.

I’m only a few days into driving it and will give some initial impressions:

1. The front bumper probably peeled off 1/2 inch of front height. I have bilstein 6112 up front with a 2 inch setting and I’m now only 1.5 inches of gain.

2. The front end feels firmly planted now, for better or worse. If you liked the zip and pep from a 3.5L TT this front end replacement definitely changes how the front end handles.

I don’t have buyer’s remorse, BUT I may haveconsidered lighter front bumper options…. I also had them painted brown to match the KR underside trim so no returns…

My sensors mis-fire a bit more with the bumper on, and the system does generally (Ford sync, sensors, cruise control, and backup) throw random errors and lacks polish. I love the look and the bumper is not related to all the "other" issues, but Ford needs to up there quality control game. Not nearly as solid as my 2010 on the implementation of these features IMO.

Yes my front sensors misfire on occasion, but it’s not frequent enough to bother me too much

Would you mind posting some pics?
