I'll be honest, it's tough to tell since I added the Ranch hand full front bumper also. That being said, I am averaging just under 17mpg combined city/hwy. Given that I bought the lighter tire, I am confident that I lost none of the "pep" of truck because the rims/tire combo are almost the...
My sensors mis-fire a bit more with the bumper on, and the system does generally (Ford sync, sensors, cruise control, and backup) throw random errors and lacks polish. I love the look and the bumper is not related to all the "other" issues, but Ford needs to up there quality control game. Not...
The expanded metal is spot welded from the inside of the bumper, but you could easily cut it out. I have to imagine anything in front reduces the light output some, but I notice is more in the "breadth" of coverage as oppose to output. Before the bumper, I could see more light output to my...
Sorry, slow on the uptake for replies :)
Yes, retains the factory headlights, but you can also go a different route if you choose.
Regarding the weight, braking, MPG, etc... It is heavier than factory, but not so much that it sags. I would bet (didn't pre-measure) I lost have an inch of the...
I am biased, but that looks excellent! Glad you got it done!
Regarding the sensors location/etc. if you don't like the one Ranchhand supplies, check out this guy on Youtube. He will print one for like $40-50 and it's adjustable, etc. about as close to factory as you can get...
I will try and get you a photo for sure. It doesn't render the front camera useless, but it certainly does impede your view of "how close to that car/obstacle in front of you" returns to the old guessing game.
I have the "puck" :) Love that term. Will switch to coilovers/improved struts up front when the current struts need to be replaced.
Ride quality, not noticed any change. The front definitely dipped an inch or so due to the weight, so it's somewhere between stock and 1-1.5" taller than the...
I recently added the Ranch Hand Summit full front-end replacement bumper (https://www.ranchhand.com/front-bumper-fsf21hbl1.html). First, I had one on my 2010 F150 King Ranch, and for where I hunt in Texas you need it for the deer, gates, brush, etc. It's absolutely a beast and a must out in...
In your center console is that sliding organizer. Anyone else's slide back and forth while driving? My 2010 F150 had a groove that prevented it from sliding around inside the console while driving/turning. This one freely slides as you turn... so, not only can you hear it slide from one side...
Wow, appreciate that... great to know. My concern is tire size and potential rubbing and being "stuck". Having an out to then downsize or re-size is great.
Truck is beautiful! I am debating the ceramic tint I am about to get. What is that tint like at night??? Especially the windshield, but seems like even the front might be really dark?!?!
Truck looks excellent! Did you do JUST the struts up front? They have a kit which includes small blocks for the rear to maintain rake. Curious, i think I want to maintain the rake on mine.
