Radio comes on when pressing Camera or 4-way Flasher buttons

For the last two or three months, very sporadically when I press my camera button or the four-way flasher button, my radio will come on.
Has anyone experienced this crazy ?electronic glitch?
I have an appointment June 6 for a “Ford representative electronics ?guy“ to look at and review the issues.
He is only available one day a week (Tuesdays from 12 to 1) at my local dealer.

Yes, the KR seems flawless in every way-Even Great MPG for the 5.0,… but that crazy glitch.?
Maybe re-flash the BCM…¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -not really sure what they’ll do.
Hopefully they will find the issue.
I’ll post-whatever they say or find.

No codes, nothing.
No forscan….
Just the sporadic glitch.
I just saw another user posed the same issue back in Dec 2021…. No update or comments on the matter with his inquiry.

I know it might sound crazy, but that's actually encouraging. It's not a one off and that says a lot.

Are you completely uptodate on all modules? Anyone run your VIN for you on the VIN thread?

I’m not sure as being up to date on modules. I haven’t had it in for service except for oil change.
I would provide my VIN if someone would be willing to check the vehicle for me.
I didn’t know about a VIN thread- I’ll look into that.

It's a long thread, but basically it's some really generous fellas that will look up your VIN and report to you, depending on if they are looking at PTS/Oasis or FDRS, what your truck's status is.

I think you would want the FDRS lookup to see ALL modules that your truck currently has eligible for updates.

Well after a few updates, my camera button doesn’t turn on the radio anymore ( so it seems) but the “4-way flasher” does very sporadic at times. I still don’t have front camera “auto-launch” to show the objects but I’m going back to the dealer July11 for more possible updates……
Follow-ups….afterwards….??

Well, after todays many electronic downloads and upgrades on the KR, we’ll see how everything works. Still don’t have front camera auto-launch but after they’ve been messing with the trucks brain and thinking system I think I’ll pass for now on that ”want” and let it rest for a while.

I had the tailgate KINGRANCH appliqué checked for ”bowing“ as the sun bares down on it and it gets HOT, but after cooling off it goes back being flush with the metal facade it’s attached too. They said “ they all do it even Platinum’s”; in which they did show me one on the lot. Cheap flexible plastic ?? mounting system. I’ll let this ride for a while as well.

Sometimes you just leave well enough alone and let that dog lie….and Enjoy the Ride!
