Question for the really smart fellas..

I have a relative whom is willing to let go of their RAM 1500 power running boards to me for the low.

Long story short.. could I make them fit onto my truck with the right knowledge and or resources?? TIA

I don't see why not if you're willing to either drill into the frame, weld onto it, or fabricate up some custom mounts.

My thoughts exactly. Anything can be made to fit something else with enough time, money and expertise.

Will the price outweigh your time necessary to adapt, customize, and fit these properly?

I used to tackle any "free" project when I was a kid. Time is now the most expensive currency.

Agree with those above. It "could" fit with enough work, but it may take quite a bit of modification or fabricating, then the wiring.

Are you doing the work or having someone else do it? And why is he getting rid of them?

let’s just put it this way..
a set of FORD or AMP RESEARCH power running boards will cost me $2,000.00 give or take.

on the other hand, i’m able to get ahold of the RAM power running boards for a couple hundred bucks and they’re in great condition.

If you have the means to do the work yourself why not go for it. Otherwise you are probably just wasting your time.
