Hi everyone,

I've been wondering about this for a while. When I ordered my '22 PB I included a few factory/dealer installed extras including spray in bed liner and a bed slider. My payload sticker says 1568 max payload so I'm wondering: does this 1568 max payload include the spray in bed liner and bed slider or does it not? Note: I am aware going to a CAT scale station will tell me exactly what my payload is, but I'm just curious as to how the payload sticker situation works.

I think the payload sticker includes everything that is installed at the factory. Anything installed after it leaves there should be subtracted.

My 23 PB has a CCC of 1587# without those added accessories.

My understanding is that payload is as it leaves factory. Any changes after that will affect it. Sure a bed liner is not much, not sure on bed slider. But it all adds up

Good question, but a bit confused by your statement "factory/dealer installed extras" because the factory vs dealer distinction is critical to the question.

Items listed on your Monroney (window) sticker specifically as "DIO" or "Dealer Installed Option" are not included in the payload sticker calculation, so must be subtracted to get the available payload.

BUT, anything and everything else on the Monroney sticker is included.

Was your spray-in bed liner installed by the dealer (or by a subcontractor to the dealer after the dealer received the truck)? If yes, that's in the DIO / not included in payload sticker category; otherwise, it's in the latter category.

Thanks, @Buyer2021. The spray in bed liner was applied at the factory while the bed slider was installed by the dealer (dealer said if they had applied the bed liner they use a thicker type). So it sounds like the 1568 payload on my vehicle is inclusive of the spray in bed liner but not inclusive of the bed slider even though both were ordered during the build. Thanks!

My spray in liner was added by the dealer from a local shop and just added to price before I bought it. It was not included in the GVW. The liner doesn't weigh much. I never get within 15%
