I'm looking for a set of coilovers for modest lift of 2" front and 1.5" rear (my truck is sitting on 20" OEM sport wheels), basically to get rid of the factory rake. a lot of options are stating not suitable for our Powerboost due to the extra weight in the front. the only one i've gotten confirmation from Stage3 is the Icon stage 1 coilovers. are there any other choices that are proven and backed by manufacturers that fit our Powerboosts? thanks in advance.

I have really been impressed with the Eibach Pro2R kit on my pickup. It was billed and reviewed as the "golidilocks" that rides in between the Fox and Bilstein kits.

I'd buy it again if that says anything.

Look at Elka, They valve and spring them based on the weight of your vehicle. I'm running the basic 2.0's on mine and they work very well for a 2.0 shock.

Eibach Stage 2 coil-over package. Installed on mine a few months ago. At max spring preload my PB was actually just slightly higher in front. I dialed out 16 turns from max for just a little bit of rake which softened the front just right. Each turn is aprox 1/8th inch. It feels more planted now. No more under steer in turns and bumps & ripples are dealt with more confidently with less bounce. The change is not huge but you can tell it is much better all around.
The lighting isn't great in this picture but this was at max compression. The back passenger tire was sitting in a little bit of a rain gully so it looks a little more front-high. But you get the idea.

I dialed out 8 turns and got this:

And finally settled on 16 turns out:

I don't tow a lot but still want my truck to be 'functional'. I don't mind a little rake. Just not the crazy factory rake.

Side note, the mpg's don't seem to have suffered at all. It's not an exact science since there are so many variables, but I log all my fillups with Feully app and so far I'm still hitting the same averages. Lifetime with the truck is 22.4 since new. I only bring this up because much is made of leveling affecting fuel consumption.

Has anyone been able to attain 2.5” of lift with coilovers? I have 2.5” pucks and like the look with zero rake. I’d like to switch to coilovers, but I’m worried it will sit low in the front with the extra weight of the Powerboost.

In June of 24 I purchased a new 2024 F-150 PB, 4X4, Supercrew, 157" Wheelbase (6.5' bed). But, I can say that from the factory it was not a great ride. The front end was mushy or sloppy in corners and the rear end was jittery over any kind of bumps on straightaways and corners. A load in the bed helped but it was still not much fun to drive. In September 2024 I had the local Ford truck service shop install the Eibach PRO-TRUCK-LIFT STAGE 2 [F-150 4WD], Part #: E86-35-035-01-22. The lift in the front was just over 2". A month later I put on 4 Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac RTs. I live, hunt, fish, and work (in that order) in northern New England and the improved traction and handling has been excellent.

what's the difference between Eibach PRO-TRUCK-LIFT STAGE 2 and STAGE 2R? all i need to get out of it is raise the front a little to get rid of the rake, while firm up the ride a little. do the Eibach front springs support the added weight of our powerboost engine?

I have a buddy who has a Powerboost long bed and was able to get 3 inch lift with Rough Country Vertex with the reservoir. He also has an aftermarket UCA as well though.

I have Fox 2.0, but I installed an aftermarket front bumper and winch at the same time and the shop was not able to get 2 inches of front lift even with the preload all the way.

I have the Bilstein 6112s in the front and replaced the rears with the Bilstein 5100s.

Ride is definitely firmer than before, but that’s what I was going for. You feel the bumps, but there’s little rebound—whereas before, I felt like the truck floated and bounced after hitting a bump.

The 6112s in the front are on clip #5, which is supposed to be 1.4” of lift. There’s also a #6 clip, which is supposed to give you 1.9” of lift. I like a little bit of rake. I’ve never measured the rear and front with them lifted—just the eyeball test.

Check out Shock Surplus—those guys were super helpful and love to answer any and all questions.

I contacted Eibach, Eibach Inc .264 Mariah Circle Corona, CA 92879 Tech Support 800-507-2338 ext. 114 and got what they recommended (Part #: E86-35-035-01-22) for the '24 F150 PB. The spring is correct for our PB's increased front-end weight. Back in fall of '24 I had to wait a month or so for the kit to be available. These Eibach coilovers come with a spanner wrench for in-place height adjustment. The other brands I looked at were going to be much more difficult to adjust the height.

That's what I also like about the Elka's, you can adjust on the truck.

Well that part number brings up this. Which I guess they haven’t updated their site as it says for 15-20 F150. Also states it’s for the 2.7 liter. So, I really wonder what the max lift we will get with these on a PB. It says up to 3” front, but I bet we won’t even get 2.5” on our PBs.
