Pro Power Onboard "try again later"

I just bought this truck used off a dealer lot. 10,500km on the odo and not a scratch on it and it was fully clean and in immaculate condition. PPOB does not work.

Sometimes I get a "try again later" dialog box and sometimes it simply tries to start and shuts down right away. Truck is at the latest version of firmware. There is no apparent crud around the outlet box in the box or cabin or around any connection points that I can see around the underside of the box

Where do I start with the troubleshooting?

Looks like the embedded video isn't working.
When I have the screen up for Features | PPOB and touch the I/O button, it briefly flashes a display on the left-hand circle and then shuts off a half second later.

I'd hate to take this to a dealer if it's an easy fix.

Wait a minute or so and then try again. I've seen that screen and it then worked in a minute or so.

News: Software update 6.5.0 applied and now I get a message when I start the truck "PPOB is unavailable, try again later".

Still, when I have the screen up for Features | PPOB and touch the I/O button, it briefly flashes a display on the left-hand circle (200W) and then shuts off a half second later.

I guess it's time for the dealer to take a look at it.

Have the same thing, but I called Ford direct and there's a TSB issued. The number is 23-2407. That's the good news. The bad is you have to take it to the dealer for the fix.

Remember, in computer time, later is a few seconds. That is eons to the computer. I've received that warning, waited a few seconds and redid it without problems.

As it turns out mine was .... drum roll please ... the fuse was missing in the fusebox in the passenger footwell.
