Has anyone received a PCO recently? If so, how did you receive?

I’ve been trying to obtain one for some time now without luck. Wife says if we can get a $2,500 PCO and get the 2021 for at invoice or below to put it on order.

If anyone has an idle offer they are not planning on using, send me a PM, would love to pay it forward in the future following our purchase.

You can't use someone else's offer, it's tied to the individual. I think it's by phone or address, regardless it's for that person only and is non transferrable.

Well it seems the majority of people are finding that we cannot use the PCO if the truck is delivered after Jan 4th. So this round of PCOs would most likely be useless to you putting an order in now.

Do a forum search for PCO, there is a lot of info on it.

I got mine ($2500 1/4/21) about a month ago when logging into my account on ford.com. I was updating some info and it popped up. It was sent to my email and FordPass app. I had also been entering the win an F-150 contest too.

This is what my sales manager told me about the PCO: "I apologize for not responding the same day, I was checking with my representative from Ford Motor Credit to get a definite answer on the direct cash offer usage. I was informed that as long as the vehicle is ordered before the direct offer expires that the dealer can "lock" in the incentives. So, yes you can combine the direct offer with the current incentives on THE ORDER DATE. Those incentives will then be applied when the vehicle arrives and you take delivery. "

Hmmm. I *wish* (one of) my dealers said that. Still waiting for one to get back to me, but this is what the first responding one said:

"Your direct offer from Ford does have an expiration of January 4th. The only way to use it is to contract on the vehicle before that time. You can theoretically contract on a vehicle anytime once the VIN is assigned. The problem there is you’ll probably have a payment due before your truck even shows up. Also there’s a possibility your order doesn’t get a vin assigned in time. There is no way to extend this direct offer from Ford, and in my experience if you don’t use it, it won’t retrigger."

So basically I can commit to buying it sight unseen before Jan4 to get my $2k, but they will not lock it in for a future delivery date.

I would keep trying. I started with the 4 closest dealers and branch out from there. I emailed the sales mgr at each with the same text. 2 never responded. 2 responded very soon and both confirmed it would be honored from date of order. We shall see what happens.

For anyone that is still trying to trigger a PCO:

I just went to the inventory search and picked a truck nearby, and then clicked the "Find my Trade In Value". I entered all the info for my truck and name, email and number, and within 10 seconds I got 2 emails. One with a summary of my value, the other was a Private Cash Offer.

The offer was for $1500 this time, versus the $2000 I already have. But it has a different code, and still expires on 1/4.

Better than nothing, if anyone needs it!

Thanks for the info. I have been trying to find one of these for over a month. Followed your directions and it worked, now I just have to see my dealer will let me use it.

Do you know if the $1,500 can be added to any pre-existing offers (say $1,000 for Ford financing)?

The PCO's very specifically say they cannot be combined with other PCO's. However, you can combine with other *incentives* (dealer or manufacturer)

That's how my deal was done. In Nov, PCO plus 3 incentives ($500, $300, and $1000 for financing). He tried to add military $500 but couldn't due to the higher PCO.

Tried it. Didn’t work for me. I did receive two emails. One with my trade in info and the other one was from my local dealer with their info. I am in North Carolina. Maybe it depends on your location.
Same for me in Idaho. Thank you for the suggestion though!

I just can't catch a break on these PCO's. Followed your instructions and received 2 emails immediately: one from the dealer who's now going to bug the heck out of me, and one with the black book value - but still no PCO. Grrrrr.

Must be regional.
