And I got all the goodies ordering from the factory with No start stop nonsense 500A package - Last of the good deals with Ford X plan savings.
No Wonder my resale is about what I paid for it. Not that I have plan to sell it anyway. :)

Frustratingly the 500A is no more. I got mine with bench seats, something I wanted along with 4A and the 2.7, and which led me to the Lariat 500A...now neither bench seats or the 2.7 are options for a Lariat. Ford recently said they’re going to ramp up lower cost production, I hope that translates to some wider package selections on the F-150, as the current reduced package selections really shove you up in price fast. Hopefully Ford sees the light by the Gen 15 when I’ll be considering a new truck, although I doubt the price will go back down. ;)

That said, I also made out like a bandit on my 2022 500A order as there were two almost $5k price increases between order and delivery that I was price protected for, so I knew this was coming.

Hang on to that 2022 500A! (y)

Between the loss of the 500A trim-level, loss of SuperCab, loss of tan interior, loss of more than I can remember to mention, and not one darned thing 'new' I want, at any price ..... mine is a loooong-term keeper for sure!

Yepper, 3 increases between order and delivery for me, not only a great order-day price from Granger Ford but never any concern about getting hit with those increases. And yes, my truck we delivered exactly as ordered (ordered without stop-start and no factory deletions / removals suffered whatsoever). (y)(y)(y)

I annoyingly got bit by the SiriusXM/Nav factory delete. SiriusXM’s app via CarPlay works, but about 25% of the time the app needs to be restarted before it’ll play music. I had selected the start/stop delete so I wasn’t upset when that one became a mandatory delete.

'Luck' of timing / bad karma I guess, sorry to hear you got bit.

I don't use Sirius (or any streaming app) but am very glad to have the full Connected Navigation.

The 0%/36Month Ford Financing for both the truck and the Granger-discounted 10yr/125k miles ESP was icing on the cake. That loan rate was available at my time of order, gone by time of delivery, but that fell under price-protection, too, so I took it.

Order date was 12/21/2021, delivery date was 06/06/2022.

This is the first I've heard of a SiriusXM delete. I though sat radio was so ubiquitous that you could have as an option on tricycles.

There was a shortage of parts during mid-2022, so Ford temporarily deleted it from everything from 501A down. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/connected-navigation-and-siriusxm-force-removal.10756/

Amusingly, I once drove a rental KIA that still had manual windows but had Sirius due to a promotion by Sirius (pre-merger).

Can we skip the politics? We're bombarded with that almost everywhere, this is (usually) one of the only safe havens.

Yikes, I didn't know that was even a thing. A Sirius delete would have been a dealbreaker for me at the time. Where I live now is the first place where literally 0 of the local radio stations appeal to me and CD players aren't a thing anymore so I ended up reactivating my Sirius account after 10 years lying dormant. I also don't have unlimited data so streaming would add up $$ quick.

So when someone posts about something costing significantly more than it used to, and we all know THE reason the cost went up, should we IGNORE that and pretend it's just Ford screwing the customer? That's nonsense.
