Powerboost vibration and other frustrating issues...

My 2022 powerBoost Transmission sucks .. I had the Ford dealer look at my transmission numerous times . and A vibration from the steering wheel. also a cracking sound coming from the speakers when the truck is off . My opinion in 2022 the ford quality is INFERIOR Right after Covid ! Ford should start Firing the Managers and supervisors . Doing that may put a fire under there asses . I'm a contractor and some time customers asked me how i like the truck and I tell them exactly the truth !!! I've been buying All different types of Ford since I was 19 Years old Never had problems like the problems I have with this truck.

Sounds like you got a lemon. Which really sucks.

Does your state have a lemon law? If so, pursue that.

Also, others on this forum have reported successfully working out a buy-back with Ford.

What do you know, another day, ANOTHER issue with my "PROBLEMBOOST". Noticed that I had very reduced power today while on the highway. So much a reduction that I couldnt pass with any confidence, instead got another warning light. This one says that the turbocharger is outputting lower than expected. No shit!

So now thats two new issues, only a week after finally having the alternator fixed.

You need to consult a lemon law attorney ASAP. That is your only option.

My gas pedal grinds / vibrates at times even when coasting downhill or driving in EV. Is the exhaust system active at all in EV?

Did you ever get this fixed? I have the same exact issue and my dealer says it’s normal. Total BS. I tried calling Ford, but just like the others here, they said it has to be physically at the dealership or they can’t help. Freaking joke of a company.

Richardrocks, I had a problem with my original powerboost transmission and ford replaced it. Now I'm experiencing many of the same problems noted in this thread. Coasting down a hill and I can hear grinding. Now it is searching for the correct gear going down the highway around 70 mph. Dealership said noise and vibration coming from bad wheel bearings/ front hubs. They replaced both of them and it did nothing for the noise or vibration. I've read several threads about these problems and no one ever says ford figured out and fixed the problem. If anyone knows what the fix is, inquiring minds want to know.
