Thank you.unless you have a scantool to read codes (and even if you do have the tool) take it to your local dealer to have it diagnosed and repaired this should be covered under the new car warranty. no its not normal to get a check engine code on a new truck but it does happen and thats why they come with a warranty.

For the battery problem Google door alignment, one of my doors doesn't close right so the door sensor stays on and drains the battery. Already had a battery replaced once because it was damaged because of the draining. The dealer is waiting for parts to, hopefully fix it, but they think it's the front right door. But the rear right door is the one that has the closing issue. Try slamming all your doors at the end of the day. Buy a scanner also and you can always know what the code is the truck is giving you. The OBDLink MX+ is a great scanner.
