I built this 2023 Powerboost after Ford determined the 2021 Powerboost met the requirements of the Lemon Law. I took possession of the 2023 truck less than a month ago, have not even made the 1st truck payment have and have only driven 1100 miles total.

Last night I was driving while it was raining and when I arrived home in my driveway the dash flashes trailer brake controller fault. We have not towed anything yet with this truck. I recall issues with my 2021 truck with similar issues. I took the truck into the dealershipfirst thing this morning and the service advisor gave me all the error codes posted in the photo. I got a call this afternoon stating they have ordered a new brake control module and it would be here in a few days. I am in a rental provided by the dealer, base model F-150.

Can someone tell me what all these codes mean? History of codes shows the control module software corrupt started 2 days after I bought it.

all these issues from the past and current does not provide much comfort or faith with Ford.

I would be mostly concerned with the DTC for the GWM.
Fixing it might fix all the other DTC's

It would be nice if the dealership would have immediately connected the truck to FDRS and ran a scan to see if there is a GWM update available for the truck.

The Gateway Module is fundamental to so much of the functionality of the truck.

I had potentially similar issue. I have a post in this forum about it. Ford was unhelpful in resolving my issue.

But, the upshot of the issue, my trailer brake module was spewing noise into the CAN bus causing all kinds of issues, including trailer brake fault alerts all the time and other modules throwing "lost communication with module xyz" DTCs.

In the end I ordered Trailer brake module off internet (dealer in florida I think), replaced it, everything has been fine since.

I hope they can get it fixed quickly, we are supposed to go out of town this weekend for my 5-0 birthday.

If the previous post regarding a brake controller module introducing so much noise on the bus/network that it impairs the functionality of an otherwise healthy GWM, has validity in this instance (your truck), I'd be curious to see what would be the result of just unplugging the brake controller?

Unplug it.
Clear codes
See if GWM is suddenly magically no longer "corrupted"

Sorry, I don't mean to imply everyone should do what I would do. But I'm fearless like that. Lol

I hope that will fix the problem, was looking forward to a weekend for my 5-0 birthday.

It’s at the dealership, I hope they figure it out. Thank God for bumper to bumper warranties. I will post the results when I find out.

Fully support this. I started by just unplugging the 2 plugs in brake controller and saw the issue go away right away.

FYI only side effect of unplugging is every time you start the truck it will throw trailer brake fault right away. you can clear it and it won't come up again until you turn off, turn on truck again.

OP, have you been to the dealer service for initial troubleshooting? If so, any update for the forum?

Dang. I started a different thread about this very same thing. If I had seen snakebitten was somehow involved in this I would have posted here. Lol.

I got my answers from my other post. Fixed by pulling fuse and replaced.
I do want to know if ford is replacing the trailer module or if a refresh from FDRS has Fixed it.

If the module is working after (rebooting) then somethings up .

We were having a flashing "Trailer Brake Control fault" message starting about 2 weeks before Christmas. It was flashing and disappearing so fast that we could barely read it. It finally hard faulted/failed on the 26th, with the truck having just under 16,000 miles on it. Fortunately, we already had a service scheduled to complete the parking brake wiring recall, so we askedthem to look at the trailer brakefault. In our case, they found a loose pin in the connection. They fixed it, and it hasn't come back.
