I have seen and put my hand on the heat exchanger for the battery down on the passenger side by the resonator. It has a switch to circulate the battery cooling circuit in an exchanger that sits wrapped around the exhaust. As well, C rate is just the internal resistance of the battery dissipating heat with high amperage flow either charging or discharging. Extreme temps on both sides of temp spectrum have to be controlled to avoid thermal runaway and/or damage under ether extreme.
That's for heating the engine block and has nothing to do with the HV aux loop. A battery running
~25c doesn't need a heater -- it is a heater.

I haven’t found the correct diagram as of yet.

Excuse me: Go to other forum boards and others have had their trucks sit for weeks as the exhaust exchanger was leaking and the exchanger replacement was weeks on back order. This was identified as a problem by Ford itself as a bad production run or lot of exchangers. Further, the engine black heater is a resistive, 120v plug element as I have one on my PB. The exchanger for the exhaust is for the battery. Also, 25c is within the operating temp range of the battery. When your truck sits outside overnight in extreme cold like here what I live, the battery isn’t 25c, it can be -18c overnight. What you don’t want to do is place a heavy discharge current, ie, heavy acceleration with the battery when the battery is cold, it thermally shortens the lifespan. That is why they try to bring it up to operating temp range as quickly as they can with the cooling loop being heated by the exhaust exchanger. If you want to have a generalized discussion about battery performance characteristics, we can do that as I made my living for 30 years as a EE, overseeing the testing engineers that worked on large battery systems at large power generation facilities.

You don't even need the manual to go to parts.ford.com, enter your vin, and look at the battery cooling circuit. There is no means to heat either branch of the HV aux circuit outside of the waste heat each item on those loops generate. Since the only thing on the battery's circuit branch is the battery, it has to self-heat via operation.

I stand by what I said. Any time you want to crawl under your PB and walk the cooling circuit back by hand to the battery, you will see what I am saying as well, go check out the issues n PB forum boards dating back to 21, there are numerous or several frustrated owners over the exchanger coolant leakage and backorder times..it exists and it isn’t to heat a block as you suggested. A motor running with coolant packets doesn’t need an exhaust exchanger to heat the block because it’s running already.

Any time you want to crawl under your PB and walk the cooling circuit back by hand to the battery, you will see what I am saying as well, go check out the issues n PB forum boards dating back to 21, there are numerous or several frustrated owners over the exchanger coolant leakage and backorder times..it exists and it isn’t to heat a block as you suggested. I can see you're new here, but this topic is not. There's spare parts to keep on hand to self-fix the leak issue thanks to @Snakebitten. There's desires to delete the part by a few, @amschind being one.

$5 fix if it's the typical exhaust heat exchanger leak. I have a dozen in the barn from when they were more difficult to get your hands on.
But honestly, the hysteria has died way down and I assumed it was indicative of much fewer occurances.

Of course I am also deemed a fanboy apologist and in denial by some. I have the shoulders to carry such a light burden though. ?
