Power tailgate failed to close completely

I was tinkering with the tailgate today and it failed to close completely on it's own once. Worked every other time before and after. No obstructions. But the motor sounds like it struggles. Seems like it's always sounded like this. Does y'all's sound like it could use a bit more power?

I've not had any issue, worked every time except the one time I didn't have my key fob on me, took me 5 full min to figure that one out!

Sometimes them brain farts are a real duzee...
