Cold day so I remote started for the PB to warm up. Got in the truck before the remote starter timer expired and proceeded to start the vehicle. Nothing unusual as I do the same routine almost every day. As soon as I started backing out of the driveway, I noticed a hard stiff steering so I knew power steering was gone but I also noticed the truck was in hybrid mode so I thought maybe if I rev the engine by pressing the gas pedal and get the engine going, maybe that will fix the issue. Surely enough, problem was fixed. This was the first time it was really cold at night and I had not plugged in the block heater. I don't see the connection but I thought of mentioning that. Has anyone had this issue before?

I've had it happen once or twice, all when I remote started from the app on a below freezing day.

I installed a H8 and haven't had any issues since.

That's happened to me a few times as well. Only at start on a cold day. Likely battery related.
