Adding Powered Tilt/Telescope steering wheel

Has anyone tried to add the powered tilt/telescope steering wheel? I am having a hard time trying to find the actual steering column needed in order to make the swap. I don't particularly need this, but I am trying to do a complete 501A to 502A upgrade. If it is difficult, expensive, or not really feasible, I could skip it, but I at least want to look into the details of it all

I did all of it.. My truck was an XL and now is a 502A. I have added anything and everything. So If you want to know anything I have done it all. Heated and cooled seats. Memory Column memory seats, rain sense wipers, Active park assist, blue cruise, Power Open/close tailgate, wireless charger, power boards, memory pedals.

I have literally done all of it. So yes its all possible.


The column is about $800 its not too bad to add.. You may check on your truck and see if its wired already. Some trucks do have all the connectors.

Honestly, I wanted to ask you, but you already spend so much of your time helping others, I didn't want to be a bother. Do you happen to have a parts list? This is what I have so far for retrofit and please let me know what I am missing on the other items as well if you have time (everything in green is already purchased)

I have a 2023 lariat F150 with the 401 package, not the 402high. Looking to do the same with my steering wheel, and I’m wondering if it will adjust to your preset seat position controls after installation? Or will it not pair with the 1-3 saved seat position controls?

also, looking to buy the 402a high headlights (from higher end tremor and raptor package) and wondering if I’d need any adapter harnesses since my headlights are already LED (square quad bulb XLT headlights)

It will pair just fine after you make the appropriate changes in FORScan

Yes, you will either need an adapter harness or rewire your existing harness to make the LED-P headlamps work properly. You will not get the auto height adjustment with out the ride height sensors though
