My only 12 volt outlet is in the rear seat area of the center console. I want to keep a device plugged into it. I want this device to shut off when I shut the truck off. My outlet stays hot after turning off the truck. I kept checking it to determine how long it stayed hot. It finally shut off around the 30 minute mark. No bueno for my needs.

With FORScan can I change this? In the BCM module, line 726-57-01 xxxx **xx xx-- is Power_Point_Timeout_Cfg (PPTC). There are two options shown in @Livnitup 's spreadsheet: 00=PPTC DISABLE and 01=PPTC ENABLE. My configuration is PPTC ENABLE.

My questions are: 1) Is the Power_Point referenced my 12 volt outlet?, 2) If yes, is the Power_Point only the 12 volt outlet?, 3) Will changing this setting to disable force my single 12 volt outlet to shut off when I shut the truck off?, 4) If left enabled, can I change the timeout time to the number of seconds of my choosing?

Thanks in advance.

The Power Point is only the 12V outlet. You can set the timeout value to 1 second with this:
726-57-01 0001 xxxx xx--
726-57-01 xxxx x1xx xx--

726-57-01 xxxx x1xx xx--
Thank you. Would changing x1xx to 60xx make the time out 60 seconds? Seems so.

EDIT: My 726-57-01 0708 0100 0297 is already x1xx and it is staying powered for a long, long time.

Yours is staying on for a max time of 0708 hex=1800 seconds = 30 mins so that's why I suggested changing it to 1 second with 726-57-01 0001 0100 02xx

Edit if you want 60 seconds change it to 726-57-01 003C 0100 02xx

Weird, my dash power points are off immediately with key.

Now I gotta check the console. :)

I was miss reading your instructions. You told me to change block 1 and I was thinking block 2. Once I figured out my discombobulation I understood. I edited the As-Built file, but before and afterward I looked at the easy mode file and sure enough it was 1800 and is now 60. I've tested it and verified it powers down in one minute. Thank you.

Need some help with the same issue. F-150 Powerboost Hybrid 7.5KW generator. Front Panel USB-A, USB-C never time out. 120V plug only on with truck. Rear sent center 12V, USB-A, USC-C only on with truck. I would like the 12V to be on after the truck shuts off. Changing Forscan settings 726-57-01 does not help. I cvheckd a couple of other trucks (24-25) in the dealer's lot and they behave the same. Any way to keep the 12V on for an hour or so after shut-off?

Looking to keep power on all the time as well. 2025 here. Disabling didn't seem to work.
