After months of eagerly awaiting some sort of OTA update, I awoke on Saturday to notification that I was now up and running on 1.6.0.

I took it around town doing various errands and other Saturday stuff. Twice during driving around on Saturday it had pretty serious lag when at a light. Here is what would happen:
1. Light turns green
2. Hit the gas and the electric motor starts off for the first 5-10mph, as it should
3. About the time the gas engine should be kicking on, it does not and I'm still going along at my slow speed with the gas pedal nearly floored
4. After a second or two of it being floored (which seems like an eternity when someone was behind me) the engine would finally kick in and run normally

It didn't do it every time I was at a stop light or stop sign, but twice out of maybe 15 miles of driving was more than I would like. There are no warning messages and no other issues I'm experiencing. I would have to think it is too big of a coincidence to happen on the same day I received my OTA update.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Hello JJ_Tex!

Send us a private message with your F150’s VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer.
I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this engine issue. Thanks!
