Have you gotten Power Up 4.2.1 previously? I got 4.2.1 yesterday. I guess my question is this. Does Ford modify the OTA download depending on how your particular truck is built?

I'm pretty sure anyone who has or will get 4.2.1.2 will have already received 4.2.1 beforehand.

And while it's true that depending on a truck's original AsBuilt/configuration, the files that make up the update may differ between trucks, they often still get the update numerically (version) speaking.

Yet I believe there are also instances where some trucks, depending on hardware configuration, will not receive an update that another truck will get.

So it could go either way.

Your truck, in my opinion, is one that has never had an OTA issue at all. And continued to be healthy, in that respect!
