I've had my '22 502A Powerboost since June and keep having little things pop up. When I went out to leave for work this morning I noticed that my mirrors were both folded in, and I didn't fold them in. Auto fold is turned off. I tried the button to unfold them a few times and nothing. Wondering if they had both been bumped by delivery drivers I got out and manually unfolded them which they did easily. They would not power fold when I got back in and were not even attempting anything, no noise or movement.

After work I decided to try again and still nothing. Once I got home I looked through Sync wondering if I had turned off some folding setting. The only one I could find was auto fold so I turned it on just to see. The truck was still running and they immediately tried unfolding. After that I turned auto back off and the button worked fine a few times before I shutdown and went inside.

Has anyone else had this random folding of the mirrors followed by the button not working? It had been a few days since I last drove so I don't know when they folded. I am trying to track down a driver's side water leak so I'm hopeful that isn't causing electronics issues, but things have been dry since I last drove last and everything was dried out.

look below this post, the forum suggests similar threads if your search results yield little. Some times the 'auto' moving parts go stupid. Getting tripped by external forces can end up having to go through a recalibration process. My MME driver window regulator was on the fritz, cheap ass plastic wore out, and auto ceases to work, which includes remote global open / close.

One of the strangest is the shifter lowering mechanism. If you tell it to fold down, and as it's doing so you give it a little extra down force, it trips it and opens it back up. Happens if you open the work surface before it's fully down and it touches it. I fear the day that malfunctions!?
