Platinum Black Interior Inquiry

Well its been almost 5 months since I placed my order for a Platinum F 150 and I know a lot has changes since than. I currently have a build week of June 13th lets hope that sticks.

My question is for someone who has recently taken delivery of a Platinum or someone that knows for sure that I have lost the contrasting colour in the black interior.
I know there is a constraint on the Carmelo color seats and I thought that might include the contrast on the black, I guess it would be the same interior as he Black app. package.

I know it is what it is but I did like the contrasting bit of color.

But makes me wonder why, what reason would their suppliers not be able to deliver A coloured leather.

I'm guessing Way2qk4u2c has all black because of the black appearance package rather than any type of material constraint. Just a guess.

Yes, the BAP came with the black tuxedo stripe by default. The rest of the platinums were supposed to come with a contrasting tuxedo stripe depending on the primary leather color, but now we all get the BAP setup.

I ordered mine(Platinum) in October too..it’s on its way now, and I ordered the Carmelo seats, and my sticker at the top says I got the Carmelo seats. I’m hoping it has them when it arrives…cuz to be honest that could be a dealbreaker for me.

The Black Appearance Package definitely removes the carmelo accents.

The carmelo interior (seat faces beige) is definitely not available for any unscheduled trucks.

Now, if you had ordered the Black Interior (but not the black appearance package), which would normally have been the carmelo accents, I don't believe anyone has yet taken delivery of a truck since this option was removed, or at least, nobody has taken delivery of a non-black appearance package truck that didn't have the carmelo accents.

It's also worth noting, that there hasn't been any releases / order guide updates saying that "The black interior option is changing", whereas I know they have changed some of the trim materials on Raptors, and specifically called that out in updates.

Yup that’s what I ordered indeed black interior and no BAP.
says in production on the VIN tracker so I guess will find out soon I hope.
As I mentioned above I do like the contras.

Yes my sticker says I have the black interior with Carmelo leather on my seats as that’s what I ordered. Hoping it comes as it says.

Interesting. I have the same description on my order (also on route to dealership). Was expecting the carmelo accents.

If the seats are indeed the BAP seats, then I'd hope that at the very least, the door panels match.
