Going to get mine wrapped. I too have Carbonized Gray and 3m makes a wrap that looks damn near perfect. I was quoted $550 for both bumpers....
would love to see it after

What if you have parking sensors? Can you still wrap the bumper?

Have gotten 3 or 4 quotes between $400-$500 CAD ($300-400 USD) to wrap both bumpers. Seriously considering it now. But unsure how well it can be color matched still. Otherwise would have to go matte black or something.

If anyone has wrapped carbonized gray any pics would help!

would assume they pop them out , wrap the put them back in. Cannot get into shop until April, so will have to wait a while...

I know this has to look bad... and it won't hold up for long...

But just wondering, any pics from anyone who has plastidipped their chrome front bumper in either matte or gloss black?

Trying to talk myself out of a quick chrome cover up :D

*Edit - a really bad quick photoshop mockup tells me this looks terrible already...:

Was planning on replacing the grill and wheels. But still.
I plasti dippedeverything chrome on my truck when I first got it but I hate chrome.
Thought is looked way better. But it doesn’t last to satisfaction for very long 3-8k miles at the most

I've had the same concerns. Plasti dipped my emblems, but wasn't super happy with the finish so I held off on the bumpers. Local shop quoted me $700 for both bumpers. I just bought some vinyl and I'll be attempting to wrap it myself once I get some good weather. Between tools, matte black vinyl and headlight tint (similar to a wrap), cost me about $200.

Finished the rear bumper. Took me two tries and it's not perfect, but looks far better than it did. Haven't done the front bumper yet. Gave tinting the tail lights a go, but they're a bitch due to all the contours. I've got a plan to fix it, just need to take another run at it. Out of town right now, so I'll have to get a Pic when I get home.

Pics as promised. Truck is filthy so excuse the pollen. Allergy season hit real hard this week.

This is after three iterations. Wrapped left bumper initially and looked terrible. Gave it a second go on the right side which turned out pretty good. There's some gaps where chrome is peeking through due to sloppy cuts on my part. Removed left side and rewrapped. Turned out a ton better. Hoping to knock out the front this week now that it's warm and not raining.

I didn't remove the plastic step cover for the wrap. Not for lack of trying. It was just a huge PITA. That's where most of the issues come in because it rubs on the vinyl. It would look a lot better if you pulled it off and fully wrapped under it.[/QUOTE]

What did you do with the sensors? Did you get black ones, or paint them?
