I just got a new 24’ and have noticed that after it rains or a car wash, on the drivers side where the windshield wiper attaches there is a recessed area and it fills with water. Has anyone had this and or tried to fix it, like drill a small hole with a drain hose attached?

The bit of water doesn't bother me nearly so much as the elm tree leaves and other debris that seems magnetically attracted to those troughs.

I've just learned to live with it.

There is a drain there, but if it gets clogged that'll happen. The stupid seeds from the palm tree I park under seem to fit there perfectly..

That's a FORD Engineer feature, it's made with the intention of your truck becoming a cross-pollenation platform device on wheels. (y)

These cowl drains clog up very easily. Every time I wash the truck I make sure I clean those areas really well, this includes the entire cowl. Also, whenever I walk by I try to clear off any leaves or debris that settles there.

I was having the same issue with my 21 until I found the drain holes. Now I keep them clear and it seems to drain fine. My issue was filling up with soapy water that was then blasted all over the truck by the dryers exiting the car wash.
