Hello everyone,

I've tried to do a search on this to no avail. Has anyone seen something like this happen with their Powerboost? I don't detect any drivability issues yet from this but this message keeps popping up every few minutes or so.

My truck is currently a victim of the P2C22 fault code and I have been waiting for a new exhaust heat exchanger for a month now but other than that and the associated power deratings I get going up a hill (with a full coolant tank because I dont have a leak just a stuck valve) I haven't noticed any other issues but I am kinda worried that I might have yet another major issue that would require parts that will take an unknown amount of time to receive.

Further investigation yields some more information.

My code reader does not show a DTC for the TCM.... just the P2C22. I decided not to trust my code reader and decided to jook up my laptop via Forscan. Upon linking I saw under the TCCM a U0101 code. I think this might have been related to me going onto a really rutted dirt farm road earlier today and using the deep sand drive mode with the associated 4H and rear locker engaged. I didnt need to used that mode but it's been a minute since Ive last engaged 4H and I wanted to do a bit of a optest. So I suspect that code must have been caused by utilizing 4H today though I have been using Sport and Slippery modes without an issue lately.

Either it was something to do with that specific drive mode, engaging 4H or the ruts and bumpy road conditions jostled something loose. The code is currently cleared and I will have to see tomorrow if it decides to come back on my morning commute.

The ATCM (all terrain control module) is the knob button thingy that selects what you want the transfer case to do. The TCCM is the transfer case control module located in the right firewall floor of the passenger side. Take a look at it and see if someone or something may have messed up the wires. It's in a vulnerable area.
