I received this one this afternoon as well. I saw the update icon thinking it was another phantom update. Tapped for the details but nothing showed up. Opened up FordPass an hour later and it showed up. I think I received the first version of this OTA beginning of September.

There are 3 variations of this update being sent out lately by Ford starting in July. I really don't know what the difference is between them is, it doesn't seem to be model year, drive train or trim level dependent. My 2021 Lariat 5.0 received the 6.1 version.

FWIW my 2021 Lariat 3.5 received the 6.2 version (on 9/22/2024)

Nice catch! I looked the the OP's pic, but didn't notice that one.

Hard to say if it's an update version of the first one or a different one altogether. The wording is the same, but one way or another, it is not the same update. I'll add it to the spreadsheet.

Great! Maybe @Eskram could share his VIN and PM it to you, and you could compare the software versions of the 6.3 versus the 6.3.1 if he received both OTA's and the software is the same is it possible it's only an as built change?

I also received this update today. Previously received ECG-24.2.5.6.2 on 9/24. The update today was ECG-24.2.5.6.3.1. Interestingly enough, today was the day I decided to put the truck on the charger. Perhaps this is a patch for the online OTA dashboard that was just posted about because every time I looked my truck up it came up with the error about not being capable to receive OTAs, whether on my phone or on a laptop browser. It is now showing this latest update. I can only hope this means 10.1.0 and 10.1.1 are soon to follow and kill these phantom update notifications for good!

I tend to agree with you, you may be correct about it being a patch, I received ECG-24.2.5.6.1 in early September and recently the truck was sent the DDM OTA and it failed to even download from the cloud. And ultimately expired. This could be seen by rugedraw in PTS. Time will tell if I get the .1 update sent to my truck.

My truck (2024 XLT PB, built in Nov 24) received ECG-24.2.5.6.2 yesterday afternoon. First update it has received since we drove it off the lot end of December.
