My BlueCruise just went all crazy on my road trip to TX for Thanksgiving.
Initially, when I went to engage BC I was getting a message stating “Bluecruise not available” then “Driver Monitoring System Fault”. I thought it was odd since the road I was on I had used BC in the past.
After stopping for the night, I tried it again the next morning and bam it worked.I was thinking the rest of my drive was going to be much better. About a mile down the road I receive the “Take Control” alert and even when I had the wheel the alert kept beeping at me. I had to pull over on the side of the road and totally shut the truck off to make the alert go away. Once I started back up, I received the fault alert again.
I finally just said forget about it and then tried on the way back home with the same issues.
I talked to my dealer today about it and they said it’s a Ford issue that they know about and that there is nothing they can do about it at the dealer level until Ford releases a fix. For me, I didn’t have this start until they did the 22-2224 update to address the wobble at Hwy speeds.
Anyone else running into the same issues?
