Lost functionality of onboard scales and also the smart hitch system (that needs to onboard scales to work) a few months ago after installing a 2" level only on the front of my truck. None of the suspension sensors were touched they still slide open and close correctly, but the scale stays on zero now. The offroad screen does work and all numbers change accordingly, only the scales seem to be out of whack. The dealership wasnt able to recalibrate or fix it. Can anyone offer any advice or help on how to get the scales working again? I know it will work again one day, just waiting for this to be out long enough for someone to post what the fix is. Thanks!

Just wanted to update this thread. Scales are fixed. 3 dealerships could not do it, but a $34 cable on Amazon, and Forscan did the trick. After running the suspension sensor calibration tool in the VDM module, they work again like magic. I can't believe I wasted all that time at the dealerships when it was that easy to fix myself.

Glad you got it working. But be advised—Ford plans to delete that functionality from FordPass shortly.

SSM 51379 2021-2023 F-150/Transit, 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning - Discontinued Features In FordPass
Some 2021-2023 F-150/Transit, 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning vehicles may experience issues utilizing the Smart Hitch, ProPower Onboard or Onboard Scales features (if equipped) in the FordPass app. Symptoms may include inability to connect, incorrect data displayed in the app, no weight displayed, unable to power on/off the feature, unable to turn on generator mode (gas vehicles only). The connection for these features has been removed from the Android version of the FordPass app, and will soon be removed from the iOS version. The Smart Hitch and Onboard Scales will also be removed in a future FordPass release expected no later than March 1st, 2023. Full functionality of these features will remain in vehicle, but will not be controllable from FordPass. Advise the customer of the FordPass changes and do not perform any repairs for this concern.

Yea, the scale connectivity from the app still don't work, I was wondering why. The pro power onboard info from the app works just fine, so it sucks that they are removing that. I will miss that feature since I check my power consumption from the app all the time when using the generator on my rv.

Jeez. And here I thought once I took delivery of my truck I'd be safe from any more features being deleted. Guess I was wrong... Ford found a way...

That’s how I use it too. Looks like a battery-powered WiFi camera aimed at the dash board for us!
