Old 2.1.0 pushed OTA over new version??

I got a failed update today. Under update details:

However I am way ahead than 2.1.0:

Anyone know how to prevent this as it seems like a big problem?

After it failed it’s still pending today. Automatic Updates have been off the whole time as well.

The update failed because it is a very old update. Your truck is on Sync 22192 which is many updates newer than the one that was sent to you. Did you or your dealer manually update your truck with FDRS?

The pic you posted shows the update went through, though.

I did with FDRS back in May 2022. I've received a couple OTA updates since then but was stuck waiting for the fullscreen carplay update like a lot of people. Then was pushed this 2.1.0 somehow.

I just looked up your truck in PTS. You were sent 3.5.3 back in February and it failed, and now I see 2.1.0 sitting in your queue. Ford needs to get their sh*t together.

Yeah every time I get in the truck it tells me it failed and will retry. Fordpass shows it as a pending update.

I may just have to go the FDRS route again and bring my truck fully up to date rather than depend on OTAs...

It'll go away eventually, I had an old version get sent to my truck twice. The first time it installed and hosed my APIM, but @Jesse-Infotainment got me fixed quick. The second time it got pushed I had to just let it sit and time out.

That was months ago, I figured Ford got their stuff together by now.

Yeah that was my worry it might actually succeed...
