So... 2024 F150 crew, black interior.
My lazy a$$ said "it's only a mile" and I put 3- 5qt jugs of used oil on the rear floor liner. Made sure caps were good and tight. Turned a corner and my son says "Dad it's leaking!" Cap popped off and 3 quarts spilled... a bunch overran the floor liner and got under the passenger seat and drained down where the wiring harness runs under passenger doors. Turns out, I had tightened the cap just enough it was barely hanging on. I could "strip" it pretty easy by just giving it a little extra turn and it would pop off. Talk about a bad day...
Pulled the passenger seat and used hot water and Dawn Powerwash to get the most oil I could... and you can't see the oil due to the carpet being black, but I suspect it will forever smell like used oil. So I'm thinking just rip it out and replace it.
Couldn't find an OEM part for the floor carpet liner, maybe I suck at searching on Ford Parts site?
Any experience with this, tips, or a part number would be appreciated. Thought about junk yards but might just end up calling the dealer. Lazy/stupid is expensive...
