Carpet?

Hi all,
I'd like to wrap a piece of wood (for mounting equipment) with carpet similar to my XLT's dark slate interior. I've googled, but can only find $100+ carpet pieces. Is there a place to buy a small square footage of matching carpet?

I think your best bet there is going to be a scrap yard, used car parts yard. Find a totaled truck with the right color, and see what you can get a chunk of the carpet for....
