I went to lock my truck via the key fob with no response. It didn't unlock either...so I went outside to check and the doors were locked. I tried to unlock with the fob...nothing, so I use the flip key to unlock driver's door and then the alarm went off o_O I then hit the panic button on fob and the alarm stopped. After that the fob functioned properly unlocking and locking.....anyone have this issue or know why this happened ?

Since the last update I have had my alarm trigger twice for no reason. The first time I was getting out of the truck and walking away. Key fob in a coat pocket so no butt trigger by accident. The second time I was just getting in the truck.

I was waiting to see if happens again before I started looking to see others had this happen to them too.

Maybe the last update messed up the fob somehow.

I noticed every time my truck is updated my start x remote start doesn’t work. Once I start the truck with the key then the remote start works on next start.

Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in (the truck's batt)? ;)

That might be it as the fob is working fine now.

I have this happen on my vehicles, both flip key and fob. I'll get a message (even when driving!) "No key detected." If inside the vehicle, I push the lock/unlock buttons on the truck, if outside I do lock/unlock on the fob or flip key.

Happens probably once (maybe twice) per month on each vehicle. Yes, vehicle battery is fully charged.

Pretty annoying, but I'm guessing the problem is the same as a phone when BT goes wonky and you have to turn it off then back on and all is good. Just needs the connection jiggled back awake. Like what a lithium battery charger will do to a lithium battery's BMS: wake it up.

Modern electronics! Yay!
