Odd battery tender observation tonight

Truck sits all week since I have a company truck so when I remember to; I leave a small 800ma battery tender connected for the week. I have it wired properly on the vehicle side of the bms sensor. The truck showed 99% SOC via forscan lite. I pulled the truck in my shop for the night so I can work on it early and decided to connect a “digital” Schumacher charger to it for the hell of it. Digital charger showed 50% charge so I left it charging at 2 amps.
It has been pretty cold here but the BMS system thought everything was dandy. The other charger, not so much.
Anyway, thought I’d share in case anyone else has noticed the same.

Yes. It depends upon where you're connecting the charger. It should be on the outside of the BMS sensor, not directly to the battery post.

Yup, that’s why I said the vehicle side of the sensor. If I was connected directly to the battery my SOC in forscan wouldn’t be 99%

My bad, I read it wrong.
kinda thinking the battery may be the issue. It’s a Wally h8 platinum so we’ll see if it keeps up.

Yeah.
Battery been in about a year or so, did it back when I installed it.
