Hello. I have a '23 F-150 Lariat that has just 3000KM on it. First I noticed that the Ford Pass App wasn't updating my mileage and fuel. Then I noticed that the Trailer Light Check feature wasn't working. Upon further inspections, I am not able to access the connectivity feature in the settings menu. When trying to access both the trailer and connectivity settings, a warning message appears stating that the features are not available. if the problem persists contact the dealer. Is there anything I can do from home prior to contacting the dealership?

Question, in the Fordpass main screen are you able to use the remote start, lock and unlock features?

I can't access anything from the Ford Pass app now. When I contacted Ford customer care, one suggestion was to completely log out of the app and reload it. Now I can't even connect to the truck via the app

It sounds like an issue with the truck. There's a couple of other things you can try to rule our your phone. From a PC login to your Ford account and check if you have connectivity from there. Also you could load Fordpass on another phone and see if that works. .

I think so too. Maybe a fuse has blown or something? I've tried using my wife's phone. No luck.

I'm out of ideas, @rugedraw may be able to check your truck with Ford's PTS system and possibly give you some further insight. He would need your VIN number to do this during the day tomorrow. and you can PM him your VIN if privacy is a concern.

What version of Sync are you on?

This was an issue with early 2023 F150s. The TCU in the F150 and the Bronco would lock up and only come back with a battery disconnect. No Fordpass and no Connectivity Settings. An OTA update eventually fixed it.

So you're suggesting that I disconnect the battery for a period of time? I believe I do have the most up to date version, as no new updates are available when I check.

Sync is NOT the source for checking if there are any updates available. Our smartphones and pc's have trained us to expect the device itself to check for updates. But it's meaningless in Sync. You could have multiple updates available for your truck and Sync would tell you that you are uptodate.

Disconnecting the battery worked. All systems are working now. Thank you very much!
