I see this appear when I go through the car wash. Does anyone know what the source is when selecting "switch to internet" ? It works for me, so I was wondering if it is using my cell phone data for this ? If the manual speaks to this or this was posted in another thread, then please share that info and slap me. Hah!

Nope and the truck is 7 mos old.
I would assume it would be using whatever internet that your truck is connected to, but who knows.

The F-150 has Sirius XM 360L which allows you to listen to channels via satellite signal and via cellular data connection. The cellular data allows you to get additional channels that are not available via satellite (previously only on the app) and it acts as a backup in case you lose satellite signal.

There is no additional charge for the cellular data. It is part of your Sirius subscription.

This is helpful, thanks! AT&T is spotty around here. Unfortunately I have learned from experience Marky Ramon's Punk Rock Blitzkrieg is a cellular only station lol. I guess I could stream it on the app (I have Verizon) but I hate using my phone while driving.

There you go. Thanks for sharing. I guess I could select it when in the car wash or obstructed view and then toggle cellular data on my phone and see what happens.

What is interesting is that it asked you. When I've been in places with no satellite signal mine just switched to internet without asking.

I have the SXM Platinum package, but the trial subscription is still active for another 60 days, before the paid subscription Kicks in. Does the "Switch To Internet" work with the trial subscription, or only with the actual paid subscription? Thanks!
