Im looking at getting the Venom 601 wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler tires for my new Platinum. Im going to be putting a 2" level kit on the front and wondering what the largest tire I can fit without having to do any modifications. No rubbing or cutting anything to make it work.

Appreciate any help!

I put 295/60/20 on fuel blitz 20 offsets on had slight rub on lower air dam driverside when turning. It could easily be trimed. I end changing tire to the new nitto recon 385 55 20 and rides better getting better fuel mileage as well.

Going to watch this thread - I have Nitto Terra Grappler G2's in 275/65r20 on stock wheels/suspension, but thinking about going to the Venomrex 602 if/when they go on sale

I don't know much about tire size. I keep seeing 285/60/20, some 285/65/20. Not sure what to go with.

Anymore suggestions of input, fire away.

Not sure about the tire size, but that Venom 601 is a sharp wheel. Nice choice!

You didn't mention what size wheel you'll be buying, so it's hard to recommend a tire size.

I had 275/60R20s on my truck from the factory, which had an outside diameter of around 32.8 inches. I switched to a 17 inch wheel with a +25 offset (compared to factory +44) and 33x12.5R17 tires and have no rubbing. The 33x12.5 tire I selected is also 32.8 inches. I don't have a lift or level.

So with a two inch lift/level, you should comfortably fit any tire with an outside diameter of 33 inches. Go to https://tiresize.com/chart/ and scroll down to tire size by diameter, select 33", and then check the different wheel sizes for a variety of tire sizes that equate to 33 inches.

It's up to someone else to say whether a 34 or 35 inch tire would fit.

I was thinking about going with the 601's on a 20x9 +12 on a 305/55. The Mizler Bro. on Backroad Driver went with the 602's they fit with trimming of the plastic valence.

There's tons of tire size comparison calculators on line.
https://tiresize.com/comparison/
This is just one.
In a nutshell the 285/65 is going to be same width, taller, and have more sidewall(distance between rim and ground).
Some calculators say recommended or not to the different tire sizes.
