Well now that the weather is nice and the window is down more I can here what i can only explain as a exhaust manifold leak or some kind of air sound escaping from the left side engine bay or maybe the exhaust system under the drive side. Power seems to be the same and it shifts fine. When I'm putting around on the way to and from anywhere it's barley noticeable but as soon as I get 1/2 throttle or more hwy merge or pulling out and getting on it. It happens all time. Is there any other possible engine component that would create a similar sound? I would like to get as much diagnosis as possible before I take to dealer. If I here "cannot duplicate or that's normal" again I'm gonna lose my s@#t. I have had the truck since end of May 21 w 12,500 miles. This sound is definitely a different motor sound so much it is louder than the motor sound pumped thru the speakers. I will try and get a video w sound later.

There is no "motor sound" through speakers on the 5.0.

I would think an exhaust leak would throw a code...

Can you record sound?
