its possible the dealer sold the truck and the deal fell thru, but somebody processed the sale. This started the warranty. What are the dates on the window sticker?
Not w/ 5 miles. That looks clerical.

I’ve encountered this before. Go back to the selling dealer and have someone from their business office to make the correction. I’m sure someone there did an RDR (Retail Delivery Report) of your truck by mistake (however they wanna call it - intentional or accidentally). Bring your contract, will save you time waiting for them to pull a copy for you.

The window sticker date is 9/21/23. I also made a small mistake in my post. It had 5 miles on it when it was delivered, when I purchased it there was 11 miles and that is also what is on the contract.

I took possession of my july/23 build in early oct/23 which was brought in from another dealership a few hundred kms away with 250ish kms on the clock. My warranty started a few days after it arrived at dealership only after I put my signature on paper and key fob in pocket.

Agree with all above. Speak to management there or call Ford district office directly. Either the vehicle was "in-service" and the warranty started back then, at which point it's a "used truck" or it was brand new to you and in-service date starts when you drove it off the lot.

In some states in service and sold are two different things. In my state if the vehicle has not been titled but put in service the clock starts on the warranty even though it is never been determined to be sold. I have gotten many good deals purchasing vehicles because they had 500 miles on them but have never been titled, all I lost was a couple of months of the original three-year 36,000 mile warranty.

But was this loss of warranty disclosed to you? It wasn’t to me. I wouldn’t have even thought to ask because the truck has 11 miles and is new.

,
Caveat emptor. My dealership is usually very honest with their customers but I have always read through the paperwork before signing. "You" are your first line of protection

I read all of my paperwork. Nothing in the paperwork indicated this issue.

So did mine...and it was correct. That is why there is an issue. Paperwork is correct, the Ford dashboard on their website and FordPass app show the incorrect date. I'm not an idiot.

Not being a car dealership I can't fathom how it would benefit them to do something wonky on a car with 5mi on it. If it's an innocent mistake, they should (if they have any sense) offer to pony up a 1 yr ESP and agree to cover any deductible's or costs for the first 6 months of it.
Orange pumpkin can happen.

I agree that the dealership should make it right.

Maybe it takes time to flow through the computer system?
Anyway, you have paperwork, so that will have legal standing vs. some FordApp that the dealership didn't develop or design.

Most likely someone at the dealership needs to update some field or call someone to update some field that will push to the database that the Ford App uses.

Same thing happened to me. lost 6 months of warranty and all of the "complimentary" subscriptions. I found out a month after sale when looking in the Ford pass app. This was never mentioned to me before or during the sale at all. I made several calls to Ford and the dealership about this issue, and even reached out to the "ford motor company" person on this forum and f150forum.com all with no resolution or even an attempt to do anything other than notate it. Pretty much a big F you is what i got.. Good luck with yours.
