New tires

ordered some 20x9 wheels and deciding what tires to get. the size I’m going to run are 275 55 20. I don’t do any off road but winters can get a lot of snow

Don't know if you are set on the 55-ratio. 275/60R20 is the OEM sizing.

well I just wanted something with the same diameter as the stock 275 65 18 that’s why I wanted the 55 but I been debating on going with the 60

Lots of choices out there, but for look for attire that is 3PMSF rated. If you already know about this disregard

I was doing some searching and a lot of people are recommending the Michelin defender. They say they are also decent in snow ? Also looking at continental terrain contact ht or general grabber hts 60 they just don’t have the snowflake symbol

I put some Firestone Destination AT2 on my 2014. They have good tread, silent ride and good all around tire.

The defenders are great tires. I had a set on my 19 and just bought some for my 24. They are highway focused tire for sure and do ok on dirt roads. Don’t expect to make it through any crazy stuff though. They also do well in the snow, not as good as dedicated snow tires but well none the less. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them
