Kidding, kind of, still rocking my C1R “Legacy” now, would recommend using some dialectric grease for the connectors everyone, seals were good on mine when I took it out recently, but that grease is cheap.

Wen taillights?

Yeah, I'll take some Diode Dynamics tail lights to go with the headlights and fog lights! lol But it looks like they don't have any plans to offer.

@Diode Dynamics any discounts for those of us who bought the previous version and could buy just the light itself? I purchased the kit back in December with the harness and hitch sleeve, so I'm assuming I'd only need the light for the upgrade in light output?

I have one of these, the older model, love it. I don't have the brake light, and Ive never had an error message.

@Diode Dynamics , if I upgrade to the new one, is it the same harness to the taillight, I can just plug in the new one?

The harness has not changed—only the internals of the HitchMount LED Pod were updated to provide a boost in performance. While we don’t currently offer a discount for previous-generation owners, the original version is still a top-performing unit. We recently ran a 20% off sale and hope to offer another promotion before the end of the year, so keep an eye out!

The harness remains the same, so you can simply plug in the new HitchMount LED Pod. If you're looking to upgrade, we recommend reaching out to our customer service team—they can help set up a custom order for just the pod (without additional wiring).
