plus the 18 mm offset, it makes the 33's look perfect. i'm running the same tires on stock wheels and no lift, and they look big but they dont look nearly as nice as the OP. nicely done.

Its is weird isn't it ? The GG 275/70/R18 is the same width and diameter as the OEM Hankook 275/60/R20. I guess it's the aggressive tread and sidewall mixed with an +18 offset making it look bigger.

Did you notice your ride soften a little as the Eibachs got some miles on them? Even with the switch to an 18' inch tire the ride is firmer than I was expecting.

I went 10 turns down on my coilovers…….the ride started out more compliant than stock at that setting. I’m not exactly sure if it’s gotten better, but I will say that I added 5 psi to my tires and it didn’t add any noticeable degradation in ride quality.

New Rubber, wheels, and suspension upgrades done today. Went from this...

To this...

Method 318 18" in Gloss Black (+18 offset)
General Grabber ATX 275/70/R 18
Eibach 2.0 Coilovers and Rears.

Changes the look of whole truck in my opinion. Way more capable also. Went with the Grabbers because it's one of the few in this tire size that's NOT load range E and is 3peak snow rated. Did not want the extra weight nor firmness of E rated. I've only put a few miles on so far but I've noticed these tires are relatively quiet for the aggressive tread. A little hum but nothing annoying. I managed to lose a couple pounds per corner from OEM tire/wheels due to the lighter Method wheel. I've also noticed Powerboost hybrid electric drive works nearly the same as the OEM Hankooks. I am surprised by this. Need some more time to see how much MPGs are altered, if at all.

Eibachs are nice firm ride. The jittery, floaty feel of the PB and body roll in corners/ depressions is gone. Way nicer driving truck!

Poke is little more than I wanted but I can live with it...

Went from 37" in the front to 40" ....

IMG_1080.jpeg

Back now measures 41" so there's still an inch of rake left, which I like.

When I was getting it aligned I was lucky enough to park next to a F150 tremor with identical tires- GG 275/70/R18

IMG_1070.jpeg

As you can see, I am a little higher in the front end.

Hope this helps anyone researching these subjects to help make their decision! I know I did a lot of research on this forum trying to find my ideal setup. Thanks!
Looks like you might have the Ford mud flaps? They protect the side of your truck enough with that setup?

Yes, they are the Ford Mudflaps. The new GGs are flush with the outside edge of the flap. I'm thinking they are good enough protection but can't swear to it. But I've also PPF'd the rocker panels all the way to the rear wheels so I have extra protection.

Did you leave the from struts at full extension, or did you take some turns out of it? I took 10 turns out and ended up with about 1 inch rake, which was my target, and this resulted in a very nice ride.

Yes, coilovers were left at full lift- and the ride is on the firm side. I want to turn to em down an inch. Glad to hear the ride is more compliant after turning them down a bit. Thanks!

Thanks!

Going on a road trip this weekend and will report back on hwy mpg. Pleased to report around town mpg (under 45mph) basically the same as stock setup. I think this is due to lighter weight wheels offsetting aggressive tread pattern.

Salt Lake City to Las Vegas yesterday- 75mph with cruise control whole way- 20.4 mpg - probably a drop of 1-2 mpg vs. stock.
