I don't know if I'm wreckless or living on the edge but when I got this updated I walked out to the garage , hit the start button without turning on the truck, hit the accept button, then turned everything off and walked away(got a update success message in about 30 min) If your really concerned you can throw your truck on a trickle charger or go for a drive.
