After almost 5 months I finally got my new F-150 Ordered TODAY!! It truly is a happy day for me.. From Granger of course!! It's not a expensive truck, in fact it's about as low price as you can get, but it is perfect for me. Iconic Silver Metallic 2×2 Regular cab XL short bed I only went with a few options. Black platform running boards and privacy glass. I seriously considered upgrading to the 103-A to get the LED running lights but now that package includes the work surface but on the XL when you get it it's not padded like on higher trims with a console. It's important to me to have a nice cushey arm rest and since I will add leather later this year I didn't want to complicate the install..
I'll start a build thread after I get a VIN number. I'm not planning anything outrageous but the basic truck, regular cab XL short bed, is PERFECT for customizing this year and I think is the best bargain Ford has give us for years..

Congrats on placing your order!

I also have an Iconic Silver RCSB truck coming. Mine was built mid-February, but has yet to show up to the dealership yet (early trucks were held).

Be sure share your build modifications after you take delivery

I was getting Carbonized Grey for months then switched it to Iconic Silver..Did you get the 103-A ?? Since you ordered early it probably won't have the work surface option. I really wanted the LED running lights but since I plan to paint match the chrome bumper was just extra cost.. Same with wheels and tires. My big mods will be one piece tonneau cover and a custom leather interior. Ceramic coating and tint and some time down the road carpet too.

I choose to stay with the 101A package. I did get the rear defrost/tint option and 4WD (winter mode). I’m also planning to paint match the bumpers and replace the wheels, so the ~$900 savings by not selected 103A will be added into my parts fund!

All things considered, I think these Regular Cabs are just right for enthusiasts. Sure, a leather option from the factory would nice but the entry cost for the truck would get pricey fast!

Keep us posted on your build timeline. Growing more impatient waiting for mine to ship, built 1/22. I went with 103A on mine, not fully realizing that the rear privacy glass with defrost is a standalone option. I do like the look of the black bumpers, thinking to get mine wrapped to delete the chrome, or go all in like @VTR_16 did and have them painted to match. And 4x4 with FX4 (available in Canada on RCSB) because I like exploring all the logging roads, some require 4 wheel plus its nice to have in case our winters are worse than usual.
Also planning a leather interior with carpet floors. Already have an OEM leather steering wheel waiting to install.

I thought long and hard about the exact truck that would serve me well and this is the first one I have ordered. I had to wait 2 months after I first planned to order due to the $2,000.00 deposit required for a 2 wheel drive but I believe the whole process will be much quicker and since it's a relatively simple build I might get a great quality build since many problems and supply line issues have been resolved.
