This is what I used. Install took maybe 10 minutes and forscan was a few minutes. Coin holder pops out and there is a plug attached to it, the controller plugs in there then pops in place. The module is under the dash, left of brake pedal. I had what I believe is a dummy module maybe but there are 2 screws to undo and pops out. There are 2 plugs to unplug and plug into new module.

Thanks for the information brother. and you need to program something? go to the dealer? I have seen that module in my f150 with the 2 connectors

You're welcome. Yeah there were a couple changes in forscan. Dealer wanted a stupid amount of money to do it so I bought the cable and a laptop and did it myself in a couple minutes

This is my '23 STX in Hot Pepper Red. So far I have done trailer brake controller, bed lights, changed front emblem to a black tremor one with camera and washer, 12" radio swap, and just added keypad. This is just the start lol. I plan on doing mirrors and add the 360 cams, cluster swap, get it lowered with wheels, and change out heads, tails, and fogs. It's been fun learning these new trucks and keeping me busy on weekends doing things while I am on the road. Some pics of the progress.

So far I have done trailer brake controller, bed lights, changed front emblem to a black tremor one with camera and washer, 12" radio swap, and just added keypad. This is just the start lol. I plan on doing mirrors and add the 360 cams, cluster swap, get it lowered with wheels, and change out heads, tails, and fogs. It's been fun learning these new trucks and keeping me busy on weekends doing things while I am on the road. Some pics of the progress.

Thank you. Yes I switched it. I could have used the 8" one but I really didn't want to start cutting up wires and stuff to make it work.

Yes the factory keypad. It It wasn't to bad once I figured out how to run the wire for the keypad as to not interfere with window. Factory keycode was on the back of the bcm and enabled in forscan. Works perfect, one of the things I missed the most about my 2011.

Did you happen to have any type of misalignment with the replacement panel? I just installed the keypad on my XL and the top of the exterior panel doesn't sit flat at the top of the door.

No issues at all it fits just like it should

I ordered some powerfold mirrors that have everything in them this weekend along with the new door switches and finally ordered the black rear ford emblem to match the front tremor one. I need to get the mirror caps painted as they are race red and not the hot pepper red along with the door handle covers. Do I need to get the panel with the switch to use the spotlights or is there an option on the 12" screen.

Where did you get your 12"screen setup from??

I got the screen from ebay, the apim/ wire harness from infotainment, and lower bezel I got from Tasca.
